Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
We only collect what you type into the availability form: your name, email and/or phone number, preferred date, number of guests, type of occasion and any message you choose to write.
The form includes a checkbox reading "I have dietary requirements to mention". It is a simple yes or no and asks for no detail. We do not collect information about allergies, intolerances or health through this website: dietary requirements are agreed together, in conversation, after your message reaches us.
If you write to us on WhatsApp or call us, the data in that conversation is handled under the terms of the service provider you are using.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
We use your details for one purpose only: to read your request, reply to you and plan the dinner, lunch or event with you.
The legal basis is your consent and the performance of the request you made yourself (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
We do no marketing, send no newsletters, carry out no profiling and take no automated decisions about you.
Who else sees it
Form messages reach our mailbox through an email delivery provider, which acts as a processor and handles the message only in order to deliver it to us.
The website runs on hosting infrastructure that may keep technical access logs for the site to function.
We do not sell or pass your details to third parties for commercial purposes. No transfers outside the EU are made beyond any carried out by the technical providers named above, under the safeguards set out in the Regulation.
How long we keep it
We keep the messages we receive for as long as we need them to handle your request and any resulting booking, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer follow-up questions or arrange a return visit.
You can ask us to delete your message at any time, and we will do so without asking for a reason.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing, as well as to withdraw your consent at any time (Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
To exercise these rights, simply write or call us using the contacts above. If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Security, and whether you have to give us anything
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and does not store form entries in any public database: your message is forwarded to our mailbox.
Providing your details is entirely up to you, but without a name and at least one contact we have no way to reply.
